As I was going through my old html files I came across my old websites, so I decided to post them here as sort of a little history of pikminlink.com

Ver 1. - 2/05/2004
Site Opened for the first time. I had very little knowledge in web design and htm, infact I started taking a class so I can learn to make a site. Looking back at that old page makes me cringe lol. I don't know why I choose such horrible strong colors. It had both my cosplays and a commissions page. Either way, it's what started my site in the first place.

This next one is not really a site for my cosplay but it's when the commissions section of my site separated off, and I was giving pages their own names now instead of just naming them after the url. My cosplay site was going through a makeover at this time.

10/14/2005 - the Endless Realm opens

Probably my most favorite one and favorited by others and also my oldest layout, it lasted from Oct 2005 - January 2009. Sadly this layout had to go. It was too much work to update it and add new content, still very old fashioned. I just didn't have much time to keep up with it. I do miss this one tho, but it just caused too much problems.

17 January 2009 - now
Why did I choose to go from such a nice design to something so plain and simple? I wanted a more professional look and one that is very easy to navigate. Since I now am on the brinks of stepping out into the career life, I wanted something where I can showcase my portfolio and upload other art other than just cosplay. While this site is super easy to add new content too, I feel that it lacks a lot in the design sense. I have been brainstorming different ideas to change how it looks, but I don't want it to be a big drastic change. We will see what the outcome of that will be, in the meantime I do like how this one looks but it needs something else.

Ironically, I would have added a very light two point gradient for the background, but that's just extra stuff… nothing important.
